William Hill Casino Cascading Caves is set within a cave. Luckily, however, the cave is actually a mineshaft full of gemstones. So, let the mining begin as we take a look at the newest game by Playtech.
William Hill Cascading Caves Review
William Hill Cascading Caves has a classic 5-reel, 3-row setup. It has 20 paylines and a betting range between 10p and £500. The slot looks good with vibrant colours. The symbols on the reels include sapphires, rubies, and emeralds, as well as donkeys, axes, lanterns and an old miner.
The diamond is a wild symbol, replacing all others except the scatter. The game has minimal animation and minimal, barely noticeable music.
One of the game’s main mechanics is the Collapsing reels feature. With every win, the winning combination explodes and new symbols come down to replace them. In theory, this means that you can keep winning over and over again with a single spin. However, with an RTP of 95.83%, don’t expect this to happen very often.
When 2 or 3 scatter symbols appear, they trigger the Diamond Drop feature. Depending on the number of symbols, 2 or 3 reels will trigger. The triggered reels will have their symbols replaced with up to 3 wilds. Additionally, numbers will appear above the triggered reels which show how many additional multiplier wilds can collapse onto the reel. Get a win on a triggered reel, and the stacked wild diamonds with a 2x, 3x or 5x multiplier will collapse. If you don’t get a win, the feature round ends.
We admit the game does seem complicated, but it is much simpler than it sounds. It all comes down to getting continuous wins. Ultimately, there is a potential at winning up to 10,000x your original stake.
William Hill Cascading Caves is a well-designed game with decent winning potential. The theme isn’t new, but we like the way it was executed by Playtech. As always, you can try out the game at William Hill.
